The Wm. Powell Company (Powell Valves) recently completed the third and final phase of the new state of the art manufacturing facility in China.

Phase one consisted of constructing a new 400,000 square manufacturing facility, phase two was machinery and test equipment upgrades and the third and final phase was construction of a 6,000 square foot cryogenic cleaning facility.

“Consolidating two separate locations into one state of the art location significantly improves our employee engagement while additionally increasing our manufacturing efficiencies.” Said Brandy Cowart executive vice president.” We will continue to strategically invest in infrastructure that positions Powell for growth both domestically and internationally.”

Powell now has cryogenic cleaning capabilities in Orangeburg, S.C. and Yancheng City, China.

“Duplicating what we have done for many years in Orangeburg South Carolina into our Yancheng City facility enables us to support our industrial gas and LNG customers on a global scale,” said Tim Fries, vice president sales & marketing North American & International.  “We have compressed our lead-times significantly to service our end user customers who play in this space globally.”
