The National Kitchen & Bath Association announced the Call for Entries for its second annual NKBA U Professional of the Year, a contest recognizing the best and most driven professionals in the industry.
NKBA U Professional of the Year is open to both NKBA members and non-members, including designers, builders, remodelers, architects, dealers, manufacturers and representatives, as well as retailers.
The contest is comprised of three rounds; NKBA is now accepting applications through the deadline on Sept. 23, 2015.
In the first round, applicants will submit three short 250-word essays at nkba.org/nkbaupro, detailing how NKBA University or other avenues of professional development have advanced their career, the role professional development will play in their career advancement, and why they deserve to be named NKBA U Professional of the year.
In the second round, semifinalists will receive a customized NKBA U curriculum and submit a short video explaining how NKBA U courses will advance their career. The videos will be posted to the contest’s landing page for public voting.
In the final round, four finalists will receive an all-expenses paid VIP trip to KBIS® 2016 in Las Vegas where the finalists will compete live before a panel of judges and trade show attendees. Immediately following the presentations, the winner will be crowned live.
The four finalists will receive an all-expenses-paid trip to KBIS 2016 in Las Vegas and a VIP KBIS pass, which includes access to the show floor, unlimited access to Voices from the industry presentations, and one ticket to attend THE BASH, the hottest party at the show.
