Fort Worth, Texas – Over 200 golfers gathered at Bear Creek Golf Club in Dallas, Texas for Morrison Supply Company's 2nd Annual DFW Golf Tournament benefitting the Fort Worth chapter of the Ronald McDonald House Charities. Morrison, the Fort Worth-based leading wholesale distributor in the southwest, raised $1,500 at the tournament for the charity that seeks to improve children's health by providing programs and shelter to their families. Participating golfers included builders, plumbers, HVAC & commercial contractors, as well as Morrison and Expressions Home Gallery associates. Morrison matched the amount raised at the tournament, donating $3,000 directly to the Ronald McDonald House of Fort Worth.
“Our annual golf tournament started out as a way to show our appreciation to both our customers and hardworking employees,” said Stan Allen, president of Morrison Supply Company. "It's been exciting to see the event grow throughout the years and give back to our community by partnering with a charity. The overwhelming support we've received from the golfers to help the Ronald McDonald House is inspiring to all of us at Morrison. We look forward to growing our relationship with local charities in the years to come.”
