Fort Worth, Texas – Over 700 Morrison Supply Company HVAC customers gathered at the Double Tree by Hilton in Austin, Texas for a Western themed conference, dinner and concert benefiting the American Cancer Society. Morrison Supply raised $10,000 through a silent auction on the evening of the conference and an additional $3,000 through a fudge sale/donation in the name of Ashley Baganz with proceeds benefiting cancer research within the United States and Internationally. Baganz is the late wife of Morrison Supply Company’s Fort Worth Associate, Jason Baganz; the couple has three-year-old twin boys.
At the event guests were provided with industry education throughout the day followed by a dinner and a concert with country band Reckless Kelly in the evening. Guests were also entertained with bull riding, calf roping and an auction throughout the evening. Items with the highest bids included a Jason Witten Cowboy’s helmet, a 14 SEER Comfortmaker air conditioning unit, a LG television and a trip for two to Vegas. Funds from the evening were presented at the Cowtown Ball in Fort Worth on May 2, 2015.
“Being able to donate to a worthy charity while supporting one of our associates is extremely rewarding for us,” said Stan Allen, president of Morrison Supply Company. “We are proud to be able to donate $10,000 to the American Cancer Society this year and look forward to working with the charity more in the future.”
