Epicor Software Corporation announced the general availability of the latest version of its Epicor Prophet 21 wholesale distribution enterprise resource planning (ERP) solution. Prophet 21 v.12.15 delivers dramatic improvements in employee productivity and business efficiency with a renovated user interface (UI) and refined business processes.
The new version of Epicor Prophet 21 offers increased employee productivity with new levels of ease-of-use from a visually appealing, task-focused and user-configurable graphic interface. As employees accomplish more in their daily work,
Customers will see faster responses and more accurate service. Improved business efficiency for distributors is a focus of other new features in this Prophet 21 version. This group of innovations provides improved Wireless Warehousing to reduce paperwork, and a more robust Rewards Program to help retain customers.
Additional improvements specifically for business operations are: faster accounts payable processing, new Optical Character Recognition support, enhanced transfer processing, and improved tagging on inventory.
Prophet 21 can now be individually customized to fit each distributor's processes. Using the newly enhanced DynaChange Rules, a company can build its own logic to execute where and when needed, without changing core software or going through a special development project.

“The new UI in Prophet 21 has positively impacted our productivity by allowing the user to customize by pinning tabs, splitting screens, viewing multiple monitors and moving from screen to screen using the new ribbons,” said Robert Hoff, business process manager at Chase Plastics Services Inc. of Clarkston, Michigan, a beta site for the new release. “In addition, the History tab allows users to easily go back to recent orders. The bottom line is that the new UI has improved our efficiency and responsiveness, which is enhancing the overall experience of our customers.”
