In order to create an even better user experience for students, the International Association of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials has redesigned its learning center website from top to bottom.
The site, iapmolearn.org, is a one-stop shop where individuals may register for live classes, take online courses, and register for and attend webinars. Users are able to keep track of their training history with IAPMO and add training from other providers so that they will have 24/7 access to all of their training records in one place. Certificates earned by users may be accessed, downloaded, and reprinted at any time.
The newer site is more intuitive and much easier to navigate than the previous incarnation. A major focus was placed on keeping the user interface simple and easy to use so people could find what they were looking for, register, and pay easily and efficiently.
Another focus of the redesign was to make the site more mobile-friendly and enable the growing number of tech-savvy users to interact with the site via their cellphones and tablets. Students are able to register for classes and take online courses on the go.
“We’re very excited about the new look, feel, and functionality of the site,” said Tony Marcello, director of training and credential development at IAPMO. “This redesign was planned from the top down with our users in mind, and we are confident that they will like what they see.”
Individuals who had an account still have those accounts under the same user names, but for security reasons they will have a temporary password that they will have to change the first time they log in. Existing users should have received an email regarding the new site and the need for a new password.
