Editorial Director Ashlei Cooper recently attended the American Society of Plumbing Engineer’s (ASPE) Technical Symposium in St. Louis, Mo. The four-day event was well attended by members.
Some of the education session highlights included a look at LEED v4; Cross Connection Control in Backflow; Relationships Between Manufacturers Reps and Engineers; Sustainable Design; and Commercial Kitchen Design, led by one of Plumbing Engineer’s contributors, Peter Kraut.
Cooper was able to spend a significant amount of time with the ASPE Young Professionals (AYPs), including at the Roundtable Lunch, Social Event at Flying Saucer, and Closing Committee Meeting. The group has big plans for boosting local chapter involvement and activities.
