By next July, the Minnesota Vikings will unveil its new stadium with one particular design focused on harsh winter weather.
The club doesn’t want a repeat of what happened in December 2010 when the inflatable roof of its old stadium collapsed under the weight of 17 inches of snow.
The new stadium's pitched roof will allow snow to slide off into catch basins and it will also have a unique snow melt system installed into the roof designed by Uponor.
