Bring Back the Trades is thrilled to announce Demi Knight Clark as a featured speaker at the Bring Back the Trades Skills Expo at Gillette Stadium on Oct. 25, 2025. This landmark event is made possible through a dynamic partnership with F.W. Webb, a leading, full-service wholesale distributor of plumbing, heating, HVAC/R, LP Gas, and PVF products and supplies across the Northeast. A powerhouse in the trades and a passionate advocate for workforce development, Demi’s experience and leadership make her an exciting addition to this transformative event.
Demi Knight Clark is known for her fearless approach to life and work — what she calls being “unf*ckwithable.” With a background that spans from swinging a hammer to leading thousands in publicly traded companies, she has dedicated her career to breaking barriers and empowering individuals in the trades.
As the founder of Spark Building Group, a Women Business Enterprise (WBE) in construction focused on welding, metal fabrication, and workforce development, Demi is a trailblazer working to move the needle on equity and inclusion in the skilled trades. She is also the founder of She Built This City, an organization that empowers women and girls in the trades through hands-on education and workforce training.
Her remarkable career includes the following:
✔ Being one of the top seven women leaders in the world’s largest homebuilding company
✔ Serving as a TEDx and TEDWomen speaker, delivering "What Would Happen if We Gave More Girls Blowtorches?"
✔ Competing in 12 marathons, completing the World Major Marathons, and finishing the Ironman
✔ Holding a Guinness World Record
✔ Surviving the 2013 Boston Marathon tragedy as one of the last five timed finishers
Demi is also deeply committed to showcasing welding as a STEM career and advocating for Gen Z’s role in future technological advancements, including NASA and SpaceX missions.
“We are incredibly excited to have Demi Knight Clark join us at Gillette Stadium,” said Steve Turner, founder and president of Bring Back the Trades. “Her energy, experience, and unwavering commitment to workforce development and inclusion in the trades will undoubtedly inspire students, parents, and industry professionals alike.”
