Business Development Resources (BDR), the training and business coaching authority for home services industry professionals, has named Jeff Cordick its new chief financial officer (CFO). Cordick’s appointment to the company’s top financial leadership position signals BDR’s continued growth and expansion.
“I am excited to welcome Jeff to the BDR team,” said Bruce Wiseman, founder and CEO of BDR. “We are confident his leadership will be instrumental in guiding the company toward continued success, and his deep knowledge of the skilled trades will help us achieve our strategic goals,” said Wiseman.
Cordick brings 25 years of experience to the CFO position, including key experiences in developing financial strategy, executing M&A transactions, and driving operational efficiency. In addition to his most recent role as CFO of Forklift Services of America, he also has an extensive background working for digital marketing companies, aligning well with BDR’s June acquisition of home service marketing agency BxB Media.
"I’m excited to be a part of a fantastic, growing company that really cares about the employees and the value they add to their client's business,” Cordick says. “These ideals are frequently used but rarely achieved by companies, but BDR has been mastering them for years!"
Cordick succeeds Sarwesh Kumar, who served as BDR’s CFO for 12 years.
“Sarwesh has been an invaluable part of our executive team and BDR’s growth and success,” Wiseman said. “Quite simply, we would not be where we are as a company today without him. We are grateful for his service and thrilled that he will continue playing an integral role within BDR.”
