A Statement from The Joyce Agency:

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our friend and former colleague, Mike Wentz. Mike was a special person, someone who touched the lives of everyone he met with his kindness, dedication, and integrity.

He was born on October 6, 1942, and was raised in Eastern Pennsylvania. He served as a Marine corpsman in Vietnam, a role he took great pride in, though he spoke of it rarely. After his military service, he joined the rep business and came to The Joyce Agency in 1996 with 15 years of experience and expertise with Oatey. His knowledge and work ethic were invaluable and made a lasting impact on our success. For years, Mike was a familiar face in the Annapolis area, Southern Maryland, and the Eastern Shore, where everyone knew him not only for his professionalism but for his genuine care for customers. In later years, he became our Dean of Education as he specialized in training customers on our water heater lines, always eager to share his knowledge.

Mike was a loyal, honest, and dedicated member of our team until his retirement in August 2023. He is deeply missed by all who knew him. Mike is survived by his loving wife, Lenore, his son, Mike Jr., and his daughter-in-law, who remain in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
