Watts has announced a live continuing education webinar — “Data Center Server Cooling Optimization.” This webinar is tailored specifically for engineers, architects, designers, specifiers, and facility managers involved in retrofitting, expanding, or constructing data center facilities
On Tuesday, Oct. 29 at 12 p.m. EST, attendees will learn about how a well-designed cooling system can increase the efficiency of a data center and lower operational costs. Participants can earn 0.1 ASPE CEU or 1 AIA LU|HSW that counts toward professional development and licensure requirements.
In this webinar, a Watts subject matter expert will discuss various topics related to server cooling technologies. The expert will explore different server cooling methods and how these systems interface with chilled water systems. Additionally, the discussion will cover ways to optimize the interface between server cooling and building chilled water systems to improve efficiency. The expert will also explain how to control thermal expansion within these systems and provide guidance on sizing the expansion tank and pressure relief valve.
