Rick Root, AIM/R past president, husband, father, grandfather, mentor, and great friend to many passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, July 6.

Rick’s deep investment in the rep function and AIM/R made him a Legend in his own right. He was sometimes an outlaw who was not afraid to voice his unique perspective. One thing is for sure, Rick did not follow the crowd and blazed his own trail. He simply loved the industry and the people in it.

He served as AIM/R president (2018 – 2019), AIM/R conference chair (2017), and is the founder of the AIM/R Hall of Fame Award. AIM/R’s thoughts and prayers are with the Root Family as they move through this time. Rick is missed but never forgotten.
