Marcone recently opened a 48,000-square-foot regional distribution center at 4152 27th St. N.E. in Calgary. The move allows Marcone to ensure delivery to 90% of the Canadian population with next-day ground service.

"Western Canada has been eager for increased product distribution, particularly in the appliance repair and commercial kitchen categories," said PeterSzachlewicz, president of Marcone in Canada.

Just five years ago, Marcone's Calgary facility was a 5,000-square-foot warehouse. As it grew, the company moved to a 12,000-square-foot distribution center. Now, however, Marcone finds that customer demand has necessitated a 48,000-square-foot facility -- a full 860% size increase since 2019.
