It is with great admiration and sadness that the Neupert and Consolidated family share the peaceful passing of Consolidated Supply Co.'s (CSCO) beloved chairman of 21 years, Karolyn Neupert Gordon, late on Thursday, May 23, 2024.
When Karolyn assumed leadership of the company following the death of her husband, Karl E. Neupert, in late 2002, she and her team guided the company to new heights and made significant contributions to the industry. In 2003, she successfully completed the $10,000,000 fundraising campaign Karl had started for the ASA Education Foundation. This effort provided the essential seed money for future educational programs in the industry.
CSCO experienced substantial growth under her leadership, opening 11 branches across the Pacific Northwest. The company consistently ranked among the top 35 wholesalers nationally. Karolyn's warm and encouraging spirit transformed the company culture. CSCO's desire to serve its customers extraordinarily and give back to its communities continued to receive attention and focus. CSCO has earned numerous Oregon Top Workplace awards and seven Oregon Fleet Safety awards in the last nine years. In 2019, CSCO was selected as the AD Plumbing Member of the Year, and in 2023, as the AD Decorative Brands Member of the Year. The Fixture Gallery in Tigard, Oregon was selected as the Supply House Times Showroom of the Year in 2009, nationally, and again in 2021.
CSCO salutes its chairman, Karolyn Neupert Gordon, and all that she has meant to the CSCO family and the industry. Her signature hug and caring ways touched many. Her genuine desire to build relationships with the CSCO team, customers, vendors, and manufacturer’s representatives was inspiring. Her wisdom and guidance will continue to lead us. We are comforted in knowing that her light will shine eternally within us all.
Rest in peace, MH. Rest in peace.
