Oatey Co., a leading manufacturer in the plumbing industry since 1916, has announced that Jonathan Roebuck has joined the organization as vice president, corporate controller. Roebuck will replace Mickey McMillan, who is retiring at the end of May.
With more than 15 years of experience in accounting and finance, Roebuck comes to Oatey from Medical Mutual, where he served as director of accounting and research. In this role, he oversaw accounting and financial analysis for specialty product lines and subsidiaries, managed complex accounting and reporting for acquisitions, and developed corporate-wide accounting policies and procedures for a compliant internal control environment. Roebuck also spent more than a decade in accounting at Ernst & Young.
As vice president, corporate controller, Roebuck will lead Oatey’s U.S. and global accounting operations, helping position Oatey for continued growth. “Oatey is known for being an exceptional company with a commitment to its customers and associates alike,” he said. “I look forward to being a part of the Oatey team and contributing to the company’s continued growth.”
“Jonathan’s extensive knowledge and experience in the accounting field make him an ideal addition to our finance leadership team,” said Logan Weiland, Oatey’s senior vice president and chief financial officer. “I am extremely pleased to welcome him to Oatey.”
Roebuck is a resident of Willoughby Hills, Ohio, and holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, and a master’s degree in Accounting, both from The Ohio State University. He is also a certified public accountant (CPA).
