Ice Air, a leading manufacturer of climate control solutions, is pleased to announce its line of Water-Source Heat Pumps (WSHP) has secured the Air-Conditioning, Heating & Refrigeration Institute (AHRI) 3-year Performance Award for 2021-2023. Ric Nadel, Ice Air founder and CEO unveiled this achievement.
Nadel elaborated, stating, "Water-Source Heat Pumps are integral to advancing clean energy and cost efficiency. We're proud of the recognition of our efforts. It's one of the reasons Ice Air was awarded a grant by the Department of Energy (DOE) to build a domestic facility to produce HVAC all-climate equipment with heat pump technology in Spartanburg, South Carolina."
AHRI certification verifies Ice Air's WSHP portfolio as compliant with performance standards, covering consoles, horizontal units, vertical closets and vertical stacks. These WSHPs combine exceptional performance and efficiency, ideal for a wide range of applications such as schools, office buildings, health care and retirement facilities, hospitality, dormitories, multifamily, and residential complexes.
Quieter comfort and sounder sleep. Noted features include thermal and sound insulation, with precision air handling components delivering optimum comfort with sound levels so low the operation of an Ice Air WSHP is nearly undetectable.
Challenge tested. "We are proud to receive AHRI's recognition and challenge testing of our products. We consider it our mission to deliver high-performing, durable equipment with the latest technological advancements within the HVAC industry." Nadel added. The Ice Air Products covered by the AHRI Performance Award include units from both the vertical and horizontal stack WSHPs manufactured by Ice Air.
