Pathfinder Engineers, an award-winning New York-based mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection engineering, energy services, and commissioning firm, has joined IMEG. The merger helps position both firms for continued growth in the New York market.
Pathfinder has served clients since 1998 in multiple market sectors including education, government, healthcare, industrial, museums, and corporate.
“We are extremely pleased to welcome Pathfinder into our company,” said IMEG President and CEO Paul VanDuyne. “By blending Pathfinder’s MEP, fire protection, energy, and commissioning expertise with IMEG’s full-service engineering portfolio and existing commissioning and MEP teams in New York, we create a strong synergy for future growth.”
Pathfinder Managing Partner Nancy Jendryaszek said the firm is excited to become part of IMEG and help expand the firm’s presence in the greater New York region.
“Over our history we have excelled in meeting client demand for innovation, sustainable design, guidance, and integrated service,” she said. “We are collaborative, solution-driven, and flexible—all traits that match with IMEG’s innovative, client-centric, outcome-based approach.”
The merger expands IMEG’s New York-based staff to more than 250 team members. The Pathfinder team will continue to operate from their existing locations in Rochester and Buffalo, doing business as Pathfinder now IMEG. Matthew Meyer, Alex Strasenburgh, and Corey Wilson will serve as the team’s leaders.
