Ten months before the start of VALVE WORLD EXPO 2024, 13th Internal Valve Trade Fair & Conference, 327 exhibitors from 29 countries have registered to showcase the innovations for the energy transition in this sector. A very good interim result and only 60 exhibitors short of the final 2022 exhibitor numbers. To date, 11,200 square meters of exhibition space have been booked, almost as much space as occupied by the entire event in 2022 (11,450 square meters).

The event will take place from Dec. 3 – 5, 2024 at the fairgrounds in Düsseldorf, Germany.

The fact that the industry firmly believes in its leading trade fair as an innovation driver and international community platform is already demonstrated by the impressive interim registration figures. In addition to German companies, exhibitors from Italy, Spain, the UK, Turkey, U.S., India and China will be represented in Düsseldorf.

The exhibits on display at VALVE WORLD EXPO 2024 will range from powerful machinery and equipment to tiny special valves, thus covering the entire value chain for industrial valves.

The valve industry is undergoing rapid transition, and the trade fair will address questions such as "How can existing gas pipelines be refitted cost-efficiently?", "When will sufficient new pipelines be produced and used throughout the country?", "Will hydrogen production become more inexpensive in future?", and "Where is the skilled labor to build and fill these pipelines?".

Held every two years, the industry gets together at VALVE WORLD EXPO  to exchange ideas and learn about innovations, trends and solutions. "Düsseldorf as a hotspot for the industrial valve industries – accompanied by a high-caliber conference, the Valve Star Awards and the sustainable ecoMetal trails – it is a "must" for everyone in this industry," stated Daniel Ryfisch, director at Messe Düsseldorf.

In 2024, the ecoMetals campaign by Messe Düsseldorf will again be part of VALVE WORLD EXPO. Visitors can use a QR code to decide for themselves when to plan their tour of the exhibitors' stands in order to find out live at the stand how sustainably the companies produce in their factories.

After their successful debut in 2022, the Valve Star Awards will also be presented to especially innovative companies and their products in 2024. Organized by the Vulkan-Verlag publishing house, exhibitors can submit their products with a brief description before the start of the trade fair to nominate them for the Valve Star Awards. Votes will be cast online. The winners will be recognized in the four categories Valves, Actuators, Sealing Technology, and the special category Industry 4.0/Automation during the trade fair in Düsseldorf.
