The National Institute of Building Sciences (NIBS) has released the schedule for the upcoming Building Enclosure Science & Technology (BEST6) Conference.
BEST6 takes place March 18-20, at the Sheraton Austin Hotel at the Capitol.
The conference theme is “The Next Generation of Building Technology,” focusing on the impact of climate change on building enclosures, new techniques in building design and construction, durability, and sustainability.
The 2024 agenda will integrate technical sessions around two tracks: building science and building practice. Schedule highlights include the following:
Conference programming and sessions begin March 19.
Immediately following the BEST6 technical conference, attendees are invited to four-hour interactive workshop, “How Do We Strengthen Building Science Education Across Disciplines?” The workshop will examine the traditional avenues of university degree programs as well as alternative solutions.
