Three year-end 2023 acquisitions by IMEG — JQ Engineering, E&D Company, and ES2 — help expand the firm’s national industrial capabilities and full-service offerings in the Northwest and Texas. The deals capped off a 12-month period that added seven firms, helping grow IMEG to nearly 2,600 team members at 93 U.S. locations.
JQ Engineering (JQ), a Texas-based firm has served clients since 1984, providing structural and civil engineering, land surveying, and facility assessment solutions in multiple market sectors including aviation, commercial, education, government, healthcare, hospitality, housing, science & technology, and sports & recreation. Engineering System Solutions (ES2) has offices in Idaho Falls, Idaho, Savannah, Georgia, Sacramento, California, and Las Vegas. The firm has delivered terminal and plant design solutions for decades, providing clients with structural, mechanical, electrical, and controls design as well as civil, rail, bulk material handling, process engineering, and advanced soil and finite element analysis services. E&D Company, is an Idaho Falls-based owner’s representative and engineering firm providing civil, rail, structural, mechanical, and electrical engineering design along with automation, geotechnical, and owner’s rep services.
