The American Society of Plumbing Engineers (ASPE) is pleased to announce that leading hydration and safety response equipment manufacturer Haws Corporation has joined its elite group of Affiliate Partners.
"Haws is already an approved ASPE CEU Provider and a long-time exhibitor at the ASPE Convention & Expo, so becoming an Affiliate Partner was the next step in our partnership," said ASPE's Senior Director of Education and Affiliate Relations Brian Henry. "Their expertise and commitment to educating building professionals exemplify the mission of our program, which is to help our members design the most technologically advanced plumbing systems."
Haws Corporation has been an innovator in hydration and safety solutions since 1906, when Luther Haws assembled and patented the world's first drinking fountain and started the Haws Sanitary Drinking Faucet Company. In the 1950s, Haws introduced emergency drench showers and safety eyewashes into its manufacturing line, and since then the company has grown with sales and operations in Northern Nevada, Switzerland, Singapore, and Brazil. Haws recently announced the appointment of Chuck Gruber as its new President and CEO, and while he is the first Haws CEO from outside the founding family, Haws continues to be owned by family members and upholds the same values since its beginnings.
"ASPE is a highly respected group, and Haws is excited to expand our support of their programs and members. The plumbing engineer community is a vital part of our success in all regions, and Hawstakes pride in our thought leadership, technical accuracy, and innovation to the marketplace, which align perfectly with ASPE," said Katy Loos, Haws vice president of marketing and product management.
