Registration is open for the 2023 WQA Mid-Year Leadership Conference, set for September 19-21 in Lake Tahoe, California. All water quality professionals are invited to join in shaping and advancing industry strategy, outreach, and support as well as participating in activities benefiting the Water Quality Research Foundation.
"Mid-Year is an opportunity to have a voice for the future of the industry," said Tom Bruursema, WQA chief operating officer. "The interactive, highly collaborative sessions are designed to encourage engagement and to harness the experience and expertise of the attendees while encouraging more people to get involved."
Water quality issues, such as PFAS, and solutions for industry business challenges will be front and center. The conference introduces attendees to supporters and colleagues as well as ideas and strategies to take back to their own businesses. WQA Mentorship Program participants provide fresh perspectives on the discussions, as all participants get an up-close look at the strategy-setting conferencing that keeps WQA moving forward.
The event venue, the Everline Resort & Spa, is near the site of the 1960 Winter Olympics on the California side of Lake Tahoe, a beautiful setting that has provided scenery for many film and television series. Attendees can participate in a variety of outdoor activities, including hiking, biking, and games as well as the WQRF Golf Outing or the WQRF Benefit Dinner Experience.
Full registration and hotel information, a complete schedule of events, and other conference details are available at the event website, wqa.org/mylc.
