Gulf Coast Modification (GCM) opened its doors in 2003 as it began to see a need for customers wanting their off-the-shelf valves modified to suit their customers' needs rather than wait for a factory lead time and miss critical deadlines. GCM has devoted its efforts to providing quality comprehensive valve modifications, including cleaning, testing, and coating services, for the past two decades.

The company's product and service offerings have expanded in response to its customers' developing business expectations and industry regulatory requirements. The trust given by GCM customers has allowed the company to move into a larger 125,000-square-foot state-of-the-art facility in Houston, where now more than 100 employees work to provide a full range of valve modifications.

What started as a minor operation has grown to GCM, expanding its services internationally with operating facilities in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, and the United Kingdom.
