ACCA depends on the dedicated efforts of hundreds of volunteers who devote thousands of hours to committee service and providing leadership and guidance on standards development, public policy, and membership programs. All ACCA volunteers are incredibly valuable and deserve a debt of gratitude from the rest of the industry. Each year, ACCA recognizes one volunteer with the award who has demonstrated an extraordinary commitment to ACCA and the contracting industry.
Stack was selected for this honor because of his enthusiasm and commitment to helping ACCA and its members be better businesspeople by becoming more active in the industry. Stack has served on the ACCA board of directors since 2016 and was board chair in 2021. His dedication to ACCA extends beyond the board, where he has served on the Events Committee (Chair 2018-2020), the Membership Committee, and the Partners Committee. Stack is also an active member of the Air Conditioning Contractors of Ohio, an ACCA Allied Contracting Organization, where he acts as an ambassador for both organizations to strengthen the relationship.
“Brian is one of the most dedicated and giving contractors that ACCA has the pleasure to serve as a member,” said Barton James, ACCA president and CEO. “He champions ACCA every chance he gets. When he's called to action, he doesn't hesitate, because he knows the value to getting involved and understands that when contractors work together, they have a louder voice. And, he puts his money where his mouth is, investing in ACCA by becoming one of the first ACCA gold members and donating to the ACCA-PAC to support ACCA's fight for common sense legislation that benefits small businesses.”
ACCA presented Stack with the award during the Awards & Welcome Reception, part of the ACCA 2023 Conference and Expo, which took place April 2-5 in New Orleans.
