Alliance Environmental Group, an F.W. Webb Company, is pleased to announce the appointment of Randy White Jr. as senior environmental scientist/industrial hygienist. His primary responsibilities will be identifying environmental threats that affect building structures, including asbestos, lead, Polychlorinated Biphenyls (PCBs), mold and air contaminants, to protect employees in the workplace. White will also detect foodborne pathogen sources that cause diseases.
"Randy brings a wealth of experience in environmental health and safety, building construction, industrial hygiene and environmental microbiology to our Building Science Division," said Felix Perriello, president of Alliance Environmental Group.
He previously worked for Amgen after earning a Master of Science in Clinical Laboratory Science and Microbiology from the University of Rhode Island.
White also has extensive construction experience as a union form carpenter on the Central Artery Tunnel, the Massachusetts Port Authority Vent Building and Logan 2000 International Airport Expansion projects in Boston, Massachusetts.

White holds numerous certifications, including Asbestos Project Monitor, Management Planner, 582 Sampling Analysis, Asbestos Inspector, Certified Indoor Air Quality Manager (CIAQM) and Food Safety Manager (ServSafe). He is also a member of the National Environmental Health Association (NEHA), the American Society of Safety Professionals (ASSP), the American Society for Clinical Laboratory Science (ASCLS), and the American Industrial Hygiene Association (AIHA).
