Pacific Plumbing Supply Co., an industry leader in wholesale plumbing distribution, has announced that Larry Solomon will transition his role from CEO to CEO Emeritus. Pacific's board of directors unanimously elected Ron Abramson to succeed Larry Solomon as CEO, effective Jan. 1, 2023, as part of a planned leadership succession.
Dan Sherman and Marc Sherman, Pacific's board co-chairs, jointly stated, "On behalf of Pacific's board of directors and employees, we'd like to extend our sincere thanks to Larry for his 47 years of service to the company. During his tenure, Pacific has grown significantly and established itself as a leader in the wholesale plumbing and heating market with a trusted brand reputation. Larry will continue with Pacific, advising Ron and the leadership team through 2023.”
Abramson joined Pacific as the assistant manager of the Lynnwood, Washington, branch in 1991. Since then, he spent more than 32 years in numerous leadership positions at Pacific, including Seattle branch manager, general manager, and later COO. Throughout the course of his career, Abramson has become a widely recognized and respected distribution expert by industry associates.
Abramson commented, "I am incredibly excited to serve as Pacific's next CEO and would like to thank Larry for his steady guidance and strategic leadership. Our company has a very strong foundation, and I look forward to building an even stronger future with our highly talented team."
