“The Contractors of the Year award is always one of the most prestigious awards for ACCA members across the country,” said Barton James, ACCA president and CEO. “These six finalists are excellent examples of ACCA members who are doing great things for their companies, their communities, and our industry as a whole. I wish them all good luck in the competition.”
The ACCA Contractors of the Year award is given to one residential contractor and one commercial contractor yearly. The award recognizes the contractor members and their impact on the HVACR industry by exceeding national standards and producing exceptional performance and high-quality results. Additionally, they must demonstrate a commitment to employee training and education programs in order to leave a positive impact on their community.
The finalists are judged by a panel of past ACCA Chairs and past Contractors of the Year award winners. Finalists are required to submit photos, videos, answers to questions from the judging panel, and a company profile to the judging panel that highlight the reasons their company should be selected.
The 2023 Contractors of the Year awards will be presented at the Exclusive Awards & Welcome Reception, April 2, 2023, and throughout the ACCA 2023 Conference and Expo, April 2 - 5, 2023, at the New Orleans Marriott.
