AERCO, Lync, and PVI, three Watts brands, will display innovative solutions and technologies that address key market initiatives – including energy efficiency, sustainability, and water wellness – at the 2023 AHR Expo in Atlanta, February 6-8. The solutions will be exhibited in the Watts booth (B2619).  

Energy Efficiency and Sustainability – Modern heat and hot water systems must satisfy environmental government regulations and corporate environmental, social, and governance (ESG) initiatives. To satisfy these requirements, AERCO and Lync will demonstrate solutions that help reduce carbon footprints and greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions in commercial facilities. 

Among the solutions will be AERCO Benchmark Platinum high-efficiency boilers that deliver up to 9% additional efficiency through patented technology and innovative features, including the Edge Controller that enables full unit setup and control as well as enhanced diagnostics and configuration capabilities. The result is lower energy and utility costs. Additionally, Benchmark Platinum boilers are fitted with a Low NOx burner to meet the most stringent NOx and CO emission requirements. 

Benchmark Platinum boilers can be paired with the AERCO SmartPlate EV tankless indirect water heaters to create a world-class combination plant solution. The innovative solution can reduce operating costs and increase boiler efficiency by as much as 7%. 

Lync will feature Aegis CO₂ heat pump water heaters. Available in air and water sources, Aegis produces hot water up to 170°F with no need for supplemental heat as well as wide ambient operating conditions from -4°F to 113°F year-round. Powered by electricity and non-toxic CO₂ (natural refrigerant R744), Aegis is one of the cleanest, most efficient, and environmentally friendly methods to heat domestic water. 

Water Wellness – To reduce the potential for Legionella and other waterborne pathogens, single solutions that utilize advanced technologies will be on display. At the center is the Lync Element Q, a complete domestic hot water solution with high-efficiency water heating, multi-barrier pathogen mitigation, water quality treatment and remote monitoring in one single-sourced, certified smart appliance. Element Q automates "clipboard" health monitoring  and helps building owners and facility managers control, manage, and maintain high regulatory DHW standards in their buildings. 

PVI's dynamic water heaters, including Centurion, Conquest and Brigade, not only aid in providing superior energy efficiency, they help mitigate Legionella risks in domestic hot water by providing a 140°F setpoint to neutralize harmful bacteria. All PVI water heaters are also fabricated with AquaPLEX duplex stainless steel and proprietary process which provides customers with superior reliability and industry-best warranties.
