The Master Group is pleased to announce the acquisition of Waterloo-based Fortress Group Inc., specializing in wholesale distribution of heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration products for residential and light commercial applications. In addition to its Waterloo branch, Fortress operates branches in Guelph, Hamilton, London and Cambridge, offering full coverage for customers in Southwestern Ontario.

The cities of Waterloo, Guelph and London represent expanded territories for Master. The Fortress locations in Hamilton and Cambridge will provide extended coverage in those markets adding to the existing Master footprint. Master will integrate its extensive product line and supply chain support in all five Fortress branches, ensuring high product availability and a seamless customer experience across these geographies.
