The Air Conditioning Contractors of America (ACCA) is seeking nominations for the 2023 Residential and Commercial Contractors of the Year awards programs. ACCA’s Contractors of the Year will be recognized at the ACCA 2023 Conference and Expo in New Orleans, April 2 - 5.
“ACCA contractor members want the honor of Contractor of the Year more than any other honor we give out, because it a national distinction that they are a top-notch business that stands out among their competition,” said Barton James, ACCA president and CEO. “ACCA's members are already elite, due to the investments they make in themselves and the industry through the association, so Contractors of the Year is one tough annual competition. We receive dozens of applications each year and the judges, which is a group former Board chairs and award winners, always have a difficult time pairing it down to just six finalists. I can't wait to see which companies throw their name into the running this year, and wish all the nominees the best of luck through the process.”
Contractors must submit the online nomination form at acca.org/members/awards, no later than Jan. 6, 2023. Once the nomination deadline passes, all Contractors of the Year nominees will be evaluated, and six finalists will be selected — three residential and three commercial. ACCA staff will work with each finalist to put together a judging packet. The official judging packets will include six write-ups, photos, fact sheets, questionnaires, and videos, and will be judged by a panel of ACCA past chairmen. All finalist must attend ACCA 2023 to be eligible to receive the award.
