Johnson Controls-Hitachi Air Conditioning (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo, Japan) wins the Red Dot Brands and Communication Design Award, a German international design award for product, brand, and communication designs and concepts, for Hitachi airCloud Select and the Hitachi Cooling and Heating Icon Library.

The Red Dot Design Award continues to recognize the best creative works from brands spanning different industries, and Johnson Controls-Hitachi Air Conditioning wins the Brands and Communication Design Award setting the brand apart from competitors. The winning designs are as follows:

The Hitachi airCloud Select is Johnson Control-Hitachi Air Conditioning's select software with a user interface designed to make easy and quick equipment selection while adhering to complex design rules. The user interface helps sales and service people design systems and generate proposals with ease by accelerating workflow and through its CAD Designer Canvas which provides an interactive workspace reducing chances of error.

The Hitachi Cooling and Heating Icon Library is part of Johnson Controls-Hitachi Air Conditioning global air conditioning solutions' visual language. It standardizes the visual communication across physical, digital, residential, and commercial products from remote/central/wired controllers, web/mobile/service products, and more. The icon system eases the complexities of product functions with a simple and intuitive interface.
