Legend introduced its SmartClick PE-RT & PEX Connection System at the 2017 AHR Expo. According to the company, SmartClick is five times faster to install than other fitting systems. In seconds, contractors have a permanent connection without using any tools. Also, contractors can here an audible “click” upon completed of the connection. The audible click tells installers that the spring steel clamp inside the connector has been actuated and a permanent connection made.

It is for use in potable water plumbing systems utilizing PE-RT (ASTM F 2769) or PEX (ASTM 876/877). The fittings are third party certified by IAPMO and are ANSI/NSF 61, ANSI/NSF 14 and ASSE 1061 compliant.
