A. O. Smith, a leader in water heating and water treatment, will use its September University classes to educate professionals on its broad line of water heating solutions. The A. O. Smith University schedule changes monthly and offers free sessions on a variety of topics, including residential electric water heaters, commercial gas water heaters and tankless water heaters featuring the new X3® Scale Prevention Technology.
“Training and education are critical to the success of the water heating industry, which is why we’re constantly evolving our A. O. Smith University training material to ensure the information we cover is relevant and practical for class participants,” said Jason Leonard, A. O. Smith’s marketing technology and training manager. “As we continue to develop ground-breaking tankless technology like X3 Scale Prevention, A. O. Smith strives to ensure we’re providing opportunities to learn from industry experts about the importance of proper water heater installation, how to install and troubleshoot multiple tankless units, and more.”
A. O. Smith University’s September classes will also highlight residential heat pump water heaters. The course will provide details on application requirements, duct kit installation, condensate pump installation, troubleshooting and more.
The A. O. Smith University state-of-the-art broadcast studio in Ashland City allows instructors to provide real-time, full-scope demonstrations on a range of A. O. Smith products. Classes are taught on a two-way meeting platform, and there is a 50-person cap placed on all sessions to ensure participants have a high level of engagement with instructors along with the opportunity to ask questions.
