National Technical Institute (NTI), a skilled trade school with campuses in Las Vegas, Phoenix and Texas, announces for the third year, they have been recognized by Inc. magazine's annual Inc. 5000 list, ranking No. 574. The nationally recognized list is the most prestigious ranking of the fastest-growing private companies in America and represents a one-of-a-kind look at the most successful companies within the economy's most dynamic segment — its independent businesses.
Despite tough economic times and the ongoing impact of Covid-19, the trade school experienced an impressive three-year revenue growth of 1,103 percent, making it the largest increase for an education company in Nevada and Arizona. This is also the seventh largest increase for a company in the education industry (out of 86) and the sixth largest increase for a Nevada based company (out of 50) on the list.
"To make the list for the third year in a row is a remarkable accomplishment. I am so proud of our team members, who have all helped to educate thousands of students in the trades and add more talent to a workforce that desperately needs new workers," said Chris Roth, CEO and owner of NTI. "We will continue to do our part in lessening the skilled trades gap while advocating for more people to learn a trade that provides opportunity for an essential, prosperous career."
At NTI, students graduate with job-ready trade skills without the massive burden of debt from a four-year degree. According to the Department of Labor's Occupational Outlook Handbook, demand for HVAC technicians, plumbers and electricians should continue to grow through 2030, a forecast that has America facing an unprecedented skilled labor shortage.
NTI differs from other trade schools by offering flexible financing options, a comprehensive fast-track training program, and a unique hybrid learning model. Taking only 12 weeks to complete a certification, graduates enter the workforce with high earnings potential with the average salary equaling $48,630 for HVAC installers and mechanics, $60,040 for electricians, and $59,880 for plumbers.
