This year, with Eastern covering all expenses up front, we are hopeful to raise even more money to benefit the children in Tanzania," said Eastern Cares Director David Kay.
Helping Children in Tanzania
In 2006, Eastern Cares partnered with Teleios Ministries and Mpeli and Neema Mwaisambe to open the Daily Bread Life Children's Home in Iringa, Tanzania, bringing Eastern Industrial CEO Kip Miller and wife Kim Miller's dream of building an orphanage to life.
DBLCH has since provided a loving home and an education to more than 130 children, led to the creation of seven businesses that provide more than four dozen jobs, as well as goods and services to the village.
