Cochrane Supply & Engineering, a leading smart building controls supplier, has announced a grand opening event to mark the official launch of its all-new store and training center in Indianapolis. Industry professionals are invited to attend the July 22 event to celebrate the debut of Cochrane Supply's presence in Indiana and experience what sets the supplier apart firsthand.

The grand opening event will take place from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at 5347 W. Raymond St. in Indianapolis, with highlighted festivities that include the following:

• Building automation and hvac controls trade show
• Back-to-back 30-minute product training sessions in new training room
• Networking with local industry professionals and vendor reps
• Food truck lunch
• Facility tours
• The cochrane 500 — a cochrane-ized racing experience for guests
• Giveaways, special offers and more

"This grand opening event will be a historical moment for the company as we officially launch our first location in Indiana," said Scott Cochrane, president and CEO of Cochrane Supply & Engineering, as well as president of Canada Controls. "A growing Indiana customer base as a result of locations in surrounding states, combined with unique and exciting opportunities within the state's building controls industry, made it a natural decision for us to make this location the next part of our expansion efforts."

Confirmed vendors to be on site during the Grand Opening will include the following:

"The hot thing so far seems to be the Italian Ice popsicles in the branch," joked Tony Kendall, Indiana area market leader for Cochrane Supply and winner of the company's 2021 Don Cochrane, Sr. Outstanding Sales Achievement Award. "But in all seriousness, we've been working towards this launch for about three years and I'm excited to officially kick things off at our Grand Opening. With branch expansion plans already rendered and demand already growing, we're excited to say we're just getting started."
