The National Fire Sprinkler Association (NFSA) has announced that its 2021 North American Fire Sprinkler Expo and Board of Directors Meeting will be held Oct. 5-8 at The Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas.
Attendees of the event will experience a world-class program of fire sprinkler topics presented by the top names in the fire sprinkler industry. Continuing Education Credits will be available to attendees. New this year, a virtual option is also available to those not able to attend in person.
Keynote speakers for the event are Clifton Truman Daniels and Economist Gene Marks. Daniels, grandson of President Harry Truman, will take to the stage in character as his grandfather. He will deliver the address that President Truman gave on fire prevention in 1947 and will also highlight historical fires in the White House. Marks, past columnist for both The New York Times and The Washington Post and author of five books on business management, specifically geared towards small and medium sized companies, will deliver a State of the Economy report.
“We are so excited to be back together in person following the past year and half of virtual,” said NFSA President Shane Ray. “I am forever proud of how NFSA was poised to pivot when the pandemic began, but I am most excited about you being in Vegas with us or us being in your office, conference room, home or on your mobile device. As we roll out this conference in-person and virtual, we will be able to reach a broader audience with our messages and most of all, be able to honor the 2020 and 2021 award recipients in front of an expanded audience.”
The North American Fire Sprinkler Expo will feature over 50 exhibitors ready to display their latest innovations and products in a socially distanced expo hall that will provide an intimate yet safe setting in which attendees will be able to connect with company representatives and learn about their latest offerings.
The Top Tech Competition will take place live on the expo floor during show hours. This competition pits the best of the best of industry fire sprinkler technicians in a Jeopardy-styled format that has consistently drawn attendees to the expo floor to find out who will win the Top Tech crown.
The 6th Annual Common Voices Golf Classic will take place Friday, Oct. 8 at the Jack Nicklaus designed Bear’s Best Golf Club. All proceeds will benefit Common Voices, a fire safety advocacy group dedicated to creating a fire safe America.
