Interplay Learning, a leading global provider of online and VR training for the essential skilled trades, has announced it has received IACET accreditation — recognizing its training is of the highest quality in the world. IACET's mission is to improve the quality of continuing education and training worldwide through its accreditation, thereby advancing the global workforce. To earn the ANSI/IACET accreditation, Interplay met rigorous criteria which included quality of assessment, instructional design processes and standards, learner support mechanisms, staff and support training mechanisms, and business viability and data security.
"We are extremely proud to have earned IACET accreditation," said Doug Donovan, founder and CEO of Interplay Learning. "Interplay joins the exclusive ranks of elite continuing education providers, while further highlighting our commitment to providing world-class Comersive Learning solutions for the essential skilled trades. Our mission is to deliver training that enables users in the HVAC, plumbing, electrical, solar, multi-family maintenance and facilities maintenance workforces to have better careers and better lives. IACET reinforces our vision, while providing new and exciting benefits for our customers worldwide."
For Interplay's customers, IACET accreditation means that the training they do on the SkillMill platform will qualify for annual continuing education requirements by state licensures or various credentialing bodies. Similar to an education body earning a ".edu"-status, Interplay's accreditation provides a formal foundation to deliver workforce development training that is recognized as the highest standard. Interplay will continue to refine its instructional methods and processes, as well as the development of its thought-leading Career Progression Framework that provides a greater opportunity to accelerate organizational change for the better.
