The National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 2021 Technical Meeting will occur in electronic format again this year. Pursuant to the 2021 Temporary Technical Meeting Rules, only certified amending motions (CAMs) included in the Report of the Motions Committee will be debated and voted upon. The Report of the Motions Committee on Certified Amending Motions for the Fall 2020 revision cycle was made available on October 10, 2019 and is incorporated into the final report, which additionally includes CAMs for Annual 2021 and ERRS Consolidation Group 1 standards. The report posted on May 19, 2021.
Debate opens June 14 and closes June 25, 2021 at 8:00 p.m. EST. There is no need to register to participate in the debate.
To participate in the electronic voting on CAMs, you must be a continuously active member of the association for 180 days, register to vote, and download the voting app to your smartphone. Registration for voting will be open May 19 to July 2, 2021 (closing at 12:00 p.m. EST). Voting will close on July 2, 2021 at 8:00 p.m. ET.
