The International Code Council has announced it will host its 2021 Annual Conference and Group A Public Comment Hearings Sept. 19-28 in Pittsburgh.
The conference brings together professionals from every sector of the building industry to learn new skills, share best practices, and hear from leading professionals in the building safety and construction space. Immediately following the conference, attendees will participate in the Group A Public Comment Hearings on the development of the 2024 International Codes, the most widely used and adopted set of building safety codes in the world.
Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, this year's event will have additional measures in place to allow our members, stakeholders and employees to gather together safely. In addition to the in-person event, some sessions will be offered virtually. More details about the schedule are forthcoming.
"After making the difficult decision to cancel the 2020 event, we are very excited to safely host this year's in-person conference and hearings," said Code Council Chief Executive Officer Dominic Sims, CBO. "We will strictly follow the recommended precautions to ensure the health and safety of all our attendees. The 2021 event will offer training and networking opportunities for industry professionals looking to learn from top experts and discuss the latest innovations in building technology."
