Anaco-Husky, a leading no-hub coupling manufacturer in the U.S. has appointed Thad Hicks to the new role of national business development manager responsible for leading growth of industry sales and developing new business opportunities for the coupling market.
“With the development of this new role, Anaco-Husky will be able to be much more responsive in addressing the needs of contractors and buying group, said Bill Kenney, general manager of Anaco-Husky. With Thad’s vast industry experience, he will be able to leverage and cultivate existing relationships and forge new ones.”
Anaco-Husky has been manufacturing a complete line of no-hub couplings for over 50 years and has a strong reputation as a leader in the industry.
“I am excited to join the Anaco-Husky team and hit the ground running promoting the Anaco brand of products and their vast product offering of standard no-hub couplings, the renowned Husky brand, and the Cremco and RigidQuik coupling lines,” Hicks said.
Hicks has been with Tyler Pipe and Coupling serving as a regional sales manager for the past 20 years. Prior to working at Tyler, he spent nine years working at another manufacturer in the plumbing industry.
“Thad’s extensive knowledge of cast iron pipe and fittings and having been an industry icon for over twenty years makes him an ideal resource for contractors looking for a complete plumbing solution,” said Jonathan Kenney, national sales manager at Anaco-Husky.
Thad is enjoys living in South Carolina and likes to travel, attend sporting events, and spend quality time with his family.
