RIDGID, part of Emerson’s Professional Tools portfolio, is celebrating a major milestone in the industry a quarter of a century as a leader in pipe inspection systems. RIDGID launched its first line of inspection cameras in 1996, allowing professionals to more easily diagnose inground pipe issues. Many of these first machines are still being used today.
“For 25 years, the RIDGID brand has been delivering durable underground products that have enabled our customers to grow and build their business year after year,” said Amy Moneypenny, global product manager, Underground Technologies — Inspection and Locating, RIDGID, for Emerson. “We’re proud to have reached this exciting milestone that builds on our long history of developing tools for the world’s expert tradespeople that can be handed down to the next generation. RIDGID inspection camera reels are built to last, no matter how many times a cable is pushed down an iron pipe or how harsh the job site environment.”
In recognition of the milestone, RIDGID is giving one lucky fan a special edition customized RIDGID SeeSnake Mini Reel with TruSense. TruSense is the latest diagnostic innovation from RIDGID, and continues to build on the brand’s legacy of adding purpose-built features to make trade professionals’ work easier and more efficient. Understanding you can’t fix what you can’t see, the addition of TruSense technology to inspection reels vastly improves down pipe visibility and provides more data about the environment in-pipe.
