The International Code Council, ICC Evaluation Service (ICC-ES), and ICC NTA will join residential construction and design professionals virtually at the 2021 National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) International Builders' Show virtual experience (IBS) and the National Kitchen & Bath Association (NKBA) virtual Kitchen & Bath Industry Show (KBIS) during the eighth annual Design and Construction Week (DCW). The all-virtual DCW will take place Feb. 9-12, 2021.
At the largest annual gathering of the residential construction and design industry, IBS and KBIS will provide a virtual platform experience for attendees to interact online with other professionals in the residential construction industry. The new virtual format will allow participants to see the latest product launches and cutting-edge housing and design as well as kitchen and bath innovations, hear from the top leaders in the industry, and take part in online education courses, from wherever they are in the world.
"The pandemic has marked a shift in the residential design and construction community; connecting with our industry peers at this event is more important now than ever," said Code Council Chief Executive Officer Dominic Sims, CBO. "While Design and Construction Week will take place virtually this year, IBS and KBIS continue to offer a space for industry innovation and collaboration as we work to adapt and transform during times of change."
The Code Council, ICC NTA and ICC-ES are sponsoring a virtual exhibitor booth where participants can interact live with staff. Code Council staff will also host live presentations.
