AD has announced that its member-owners have elected Dr. Donald R. McNeeley to its board of directors. “We are fortunate to have this incredible, accomplished executive bringing his perspective and expertise to our board,” said AD Chairman of Governance John Wiborg.
McNeeley is chairman of the board of Chicago Tube & Iron. He is a well-known industry professional and a frequent conference speaker. In addition, he writes a column for The Wholesaler Magazine titled “The McNeeley View” in which he addresses economic, political, and societal issues affecting the industry. He is also a clinical professor at Northwestern University McCormick School of Engineering and Applied Mathematics where he teaches in the graduate degree program.
McNeeley has significant board experience currently serving on the board of directors for Saulsbury Industries, Odessa, Texas and Vail Rubber Works, St. Joseph, Michigan. In addition, he serves as a trustee of Pipefitters Local 597, Chicago, Illinois. McNeeley is a graduate of Harvard University, University of Wisconsin, George Williams College, and Benedictine University. He holds a doctoral degree in economics, an MBA, a master's degree in management and organizational behavior, as well as a bachelor of science degree in business.
