John Doherty, 52, a self-employed plumber in Scotland, won more than $18 million dollars in a Lotto draw, but was on the job almost as soon as his winnings were made official.
Doherty’s customer will still be able to call on his services, as he said he has no intention of giving up his job.
“I enjoy my work,” he added. “I’ve done it for 33 years, and I’ve got a lot of customers that I’m loyal to. I was out working yesterday and I’ll be out working tomorrow. It’s quite hard to give up,” he said.
