In our January Women In PHCP spotlight, we introduce you to Kim Miramontes! As the COO of Goettl Air Conditioning and Plumbing, Miramontes is charged with growing the efforts to care about the customer experience and fostering a team of salespeople who are motivated by what inspires them. She continues to define the Goettl point of difference and improve upon existing customer engagement systems.
As an active member of the Las Vegas community, Miramontes also volunteers with the UNLV Alumni Association, Nevada Women's Philanthropy group and the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) in southern Nevada.
"Kim's skills far outweigh those of seasoned executives I have worked with in the past," said Ken Goodrich, CEO of Goettl Air Conditioning and Plumbing. "She understands operations, sales and customer service in a way that few executives hope to and has a proven track record of maximizing the growth potential of a range of business. She's leading an already successful team at the perfect time to spearhead operational expansion."
PHCPPros: Why did you decide to enter a career in PHCP?
Miramontes: I decided to join Goettl Air Conditioning & Plumbing because of its aggressive growth goals and commitment to innovation. My background includes various industries such as hospitality and gaming, with the common denominator being high growth.
PHCPPros: Do you have women in the industry who have mentored you?
Miramontes: I am new to the industry, so I have not had the opportunity to be mentored by any women in the industry. I feel very fortunate to be learning from our CEO, Ken Goodrich.
PHCPPros: Do you mentor other women in the industry?
Miramontes: Currently I do not mentor any women in the industry.
PHCPPros: Is there anything we didn't ask related to women in PHCP that you want to add?
Miramontes: I believe this is an exciting time for women in PHCP to be able to contribute their strengths and lead teams within what has been a traditionally male-dominated industry.
