Matco-Norca has introduced its latest 225 Series AWWA C515 ductile iron gate valve offering: the 225FJR Flanged x MJ Gate Valve with an open right option. This heavy-duty ductile iron resistant valve is manufactured to the latest AWWA C515-15 standard and is UL listed and FM approved. Its NSF-61/NSF-372 certification is verified by UL Water Quality. Available in five sizes (4’-6”-8”-10” 12”), the 225FJR C515 comes with a resilient wedge, a non-rising stem, and can be fitted with a post indicator plate so both vertical and wall mount post indicators can be attached. The 225FJR C515 valve exceeds all requirements for minimum thickness as required by AWWA C515-15. Applications include use as a fire main gate valve, for potable water and sewer force mains, as well as for irrigation control.
