The Air Conditioning Contractors of America (ACCA) held its first Fall Webinar Series Oct. 19-23, 2020.
ACCA’s webinar series provided a roadmap with innovative and educational offerings, opportunities to hear case studies, share advice, and network - all to help contractors grow their business.
Bethany Profaizer, Pearl Certification’s vice president of contractor partnerships delivered two presentations during the series. The first presentation highlighted how to uniquely engage in the solar space, while increasing revenue, and wowing customers. The second presentation co-presented with Joe Gentile, Pearl Certification’s national vice president of sales strategy, highlighted how contractors can present themselves as an ally to homeowners.
“It’s important for HVAC contractors to understand the residential solar industry because it’s a potentially rich source of leads,” said Profaizer. “It is also important for HVAC contractors to see the house as a system because this approach creates opportunities to offer additional services and deliver a better end product.”
The Fall Webinar Series offered 10 sessions over 5 days, covering a variety of topics, including the highly attended session: Flammables - Why Train Your Team, presented by Arkema’s John Maiorana, sales and product support manager, and ACCA’s Matt Akins, manager of HVACR education.
“Arkema is committed to the safety of the HVACR industry as well as the safe handling and use of A2L refrigerants,” said Maiorana. “There are a lot of factors to consider when handling mildly flammable refrigerants, and we are glad to work with ACCA on making sure contractors have information readily available to them.”
The webinar recordings are available to non-ACCA members that registered for the webinar series through Dec. 31, 2020 and are always available to ACCA members. To access the recordings, visit Fall Webinar Series Library here.
