Emerson’s RIDGID and Greenlee brands are putting their experts in front of people everywhere with JobSite Live, a new virtual event series that gives professionals the chance to interact with their peers and ask questions about everything related to the skilled trades.
The series kicked off in July with a RIDGID Instagram Live event dedicated to the latest trends in diagnostic and monitoring technologies, including RIDGID Cameras with TruSense technology. The interactive question and answer format allowed viewers to learn how certain tools can help them work more efficiently on the job site. Within the first week, the broadcast was viewed more than 12,000 times.
“RIDGID is known for keeping in touch with professionals on a personal level. With tradeshows and largescale in-person events on hold for the near future, it was important for us to find a way to still have these meaningful conversations,” said Becky Brotherton, marketing communications manager, RIDGID for Emerson. “JobSite Live provides an opportunity to talk to and interact with customers on their schedule, giving them the educational resources and expertise they rely on from RIDGID.”
RIDGID and Greenlee plan to host these events on an ongoing basis and utilize a variety of virtual channels to engage viewers. Future events will include product updates on drain cleaning, cable pulling, pipe-joining technology, high-voltage cable cutting and more, as well as troubleshooting Q&As. “Users often learn from one another, and there’s a social aspect to in-person events that is hard to replicate. The JobSite Live platform allows us to recreate this feeling of community in a virtual space,” said Brotherton.
The next RIDGID JobSite Live is scheduled for Sept. 24 at 4 p.m. EDT to train and educate on the wide offering of Pressing Rings and Jaws. Those interested can watch by visiting @RIDGIDTools on Instagram.
“Greenlee’s commitment to provide industry leading training, live product demonstrations and direct access to our product experts continues with JobSite Live,” said April Cooper, digital marketing manager, at Greenlee for Emerson.
Greenlee will be hosting JobSite Live events on the latest innovations in electrical and utility solutions. Events scheduled for September include tool demos and Q&A on the G1 Versi-Tugger Handheld 1,000 Pound Puller and Greenlee’s new Gator Remote Guillotine Cable Cutter.
